Telling SayYo which language you speak stops it guessing wrong on short or accented takes. "Most accurate" listens harder — better with accents, names and background noise — and costs about twice as much per minute.
How hard SayYo works on the wording. Higher rungs sound different, not necessarily better — change this with a result on screen and SayYo rewrites it immediately, from the same recording. Where a "×" is shown, that's how much more of your monthly allowance one message uses: on the top rung you'd get through the month about sixteen times faster than on the bottom one. This changes the writing only — never the listening.

Dictation mangles names. SayYo picks up the spellings from what you actually send — correcting one is the strongest hint — and sends them along with your next recording so it stops mishearing them. The list itself stays on this device.
